Privacy & Safety

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent, and that you agree to comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to specific sections of the Site. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

2. Definitions

  • Products: Hand-carved meerschaum smoking pipes and related accessories sold through our Site.

  • Customer/You: Any person or entity who visits, browses, or makes a purchase through the Site.

  • Custom Order: A pipe design or modification requested by the Customer outside of our standard product offerings.

3. Products & Descriptions

We strive to display our Products as accurately as possible, including images, dimensions, and descriptions. However, due to the handcrafted nature of meerschaum, each pipe is unique; slight variations may occur.

4. Orders and Payment

  1. Order Acceptance: Orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

  2. Payment Methods: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and SEPA bank transfers.

  3. Pricing: All prices are listed in USD as indicated. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without notice, though price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

  4. Taxes & Duties: Customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Processing Time: 1–3 business days for standard Production. Custom Orders may require additional time as communicated at purchase.

  • Domestic (Turkey): 2–5 business days via insured courier.

  • International: 7–21 business days via registered airmail or express courier (options available at checkout).

  • Tracking: Tracking details will be emailed once your order ships.

6. Custom Orders

We welcome Custom Orders, including filter drilling (standard 9 mm filters) and unique carvings. Additional fees and lead times apply; details will be provided upon request.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

  1. Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After this period, cancellations may incur a restocking fee.

  2. Returns & Exchanges: Unused Products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. The Customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds exclude original shipping fees.

  3. Non-Returnable Items: Custom Orders and used pipes cannot be returned.

8. Warranty

All Products carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Defects due to heat abuse, misuse, or accidental damage (e.g., cracks from dropping) are not covered.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and designs, is our exclusive property or licensed to us. No content may be reproduced without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yanik Meerschaum and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or Products.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
